Respect of National Anthem!

Few days ago (to be precise, last Friday) My school celebrated the "Sadbhavna Divas" to mark the birthday of Late Rajiv Gandhi. As much as i want to ignore the grammatical mistakes in the speech and pathetic compering, I cant ignore the disrespect of "National Anthem" done by a few hooligans. I cant find a better word to describe them because children who cant respect their National Anthem and don't think twice before answering back to their elders and teachers don't really deserve to be called normal citizens of India!

I believe, its a matter of pride for every Indian to get an opportunity to sing the National Anthem numerous times during his life! And for such children, who should be blamed..? The parents for not inculcating proper values in their child, teachers for not emphasizing on its importance or the child who didn't care to give due respect to our Nation's pride..??

Keeping in mind the kind of education i have gained, I strongly feel that here no one but the child is at fault. Children have started taking everything for granted, they have been spoon fed to such an extent that self respect (which surprisingly comes from within!) has no meaning for them! All their demands are fulfilled even before they ask for it. Its not leading them into a positive path but is forcing them to recede towards the negative path and be disrespectful to their elders, National property.

Respect to Elders, National property and fellow beings has to come from within, it cant be forced on any one! Its high time that the youth of India open their eyes and give India its due respect!

Because "Be the change you want to bring in the society!"

If you really want to see India progressing, value it, treasure every memory of it, take a pledge to work for it and be the change!
Start valuing India, and India will value you
Feedback is welcome... It keeps me inspired.. Thanks for reading :)

  2. Great Concept. Whenever the anthem is sung or played live, the audience should stand in attention position. It cannot be indiscriminately sung or played randomly. Hence sahara people are putting their best effort to make the work record. We should also participate to achieve the world record. Today we live amid a sea of corruptions but tomorrow, through creativity and struggle, win the fight to free all of our heart and minds. Let’s get creative. Let’s win.
