Children are truly the epitome of innocence. In spite of being too young, they teach us the actual meaning of life! They teach us to live without any tensions in life; they actually spread happiness and love in life.
I am blessed to
have a loving niece in my life. She not only loves me selflessly but also knows
how to pamper me. She knows how to bring life in me! There are days when I am so tired and all I want is to sleep
till I know it’s the next day. One such day
was when i had a very difficult exam and after i got back home, i went off to
sleep, and the next thing i know is two little hands fiddling with my hair. I
wake up and she quickly jumps in my lap! That moment was so amazing! No
exchange of words, no selfish motive, it was so pure a love!
I kissed her
and she lovingly said, “Maasi, Good luck for the next exam.. Leave the tension
of today’s exam.. Its not worth it!”
I was
spellbound! Children, as i said are carefree and too innocent and here is my
niece who’s asking me not to take
failures too seriously and move on to make a change in other exams!
I love such
conversations with my niece! She, with her innocent tactics never fails to
impress me. I wish she excels in whatever she aspires to become!!
I love you my kiddo! God bless you!

Feedback is welcome... It keeps me inspired.. Thanks for reading :)
That was so thoughtful from the little one. :)
ReplyDeletei agree vehemently - because i teach kindergarden kids and inspite of how tiring it gets - there are moments of innocence and joy that make it worth it. my previous boss had been in hte montessorri field for atleant 27 years and she used to tell me that we like in a terrible, selfish world filled with politics and scheming and god knows what kinds of evil and to come ot school and surround yourself with innocence - it keeps you sane and positive minded.
