PART 8

In hurry and tension, Vanshikha forgets mentioning about Maanvi's ill health so Beeji and the Choudhary family misinterprets Vanshikha's call and are happy as they think Jeevika is giving them a good news. The family is in a jubilant mood and they set off to buy Gifts for Jeevika, Maanvi and the Vadhera's.  On the other side, Viraat is continuously trying to bring Maanvi back to her senses but she does not respond to any of his calls. Viraat feels as if the world had stopped, there was no meaning to his life if his "lady love" was not in it He felt numb and restless and asked Viren to drive faster or let him drive. They finally reach the hospital and Viraat does not even wait for the car to stop He jumps out of it paying no heed to Viren or Jeevika screaming his name He does not even take the help of a stretcher, picks Maanvi in his lap and rushes into the hospital screaming for a Doctor When a nurse asks him to calm down and wait, he lashes out at her and says, "Here, my partner's life is at stake and you want me to calm down..?? Where the heck is your doctor...? Call him or i'll sue all of you FAST!!! "  Viren and Jeevika also reach there and take him away

Viraat, mere bhai what has happened to you? Why are you taking risks?  The Head Doctor can file a case against you Aisa kya ho gya jo tu bhadak pda??

Bhai, yha Maanvi ki jaan khatre mein hai or apko Doctor ki padi hai? Meri partner maut se lad rhi hai or apko case ki tension ho rahi hai?? Kaise bhai ho ap jo meri feelings hi nhi samajhe??

Viren is shocked at Viraat's behaviour while Jeevika runs after him crying for Maanvi, Viraat ruk jao... Viraat... VIRAAT... Plz ruko

The doctor comes in and asks Viraat to leave Maanvi in the Operation theater and instructs the nurse to take him and complete the formalities of the hospital but Viraat refuses and sits with her caressing her forehead her. The Doctor gives up and takes the blood sample and sends it for further investigation. He asks Viren to take Viraat and Jeevika home while they keep Maanvi under observation.

Bhai, Doctor ko bol do, m yha se ek inch bhi nhi hilne wala hun... jana hai to ap or bhabhi jao...

Nhi... m bhi khi nhi ja rhi... Viren ji ap jayiye.. Mujhe apni mannu k pas rehna hai...

Koi khi nhi jayega... Hm sb yhi rahenge...

Every one turn around and find Kadambri and Vanshikha standing there..

Viraat and Jeevika run towards them and hug the ladies...

Maa, dekho na, Viren ji mujhe yha se jaane ko keh rhe hain... Mujhe Mannu ke paas rehna hai... Maa please...

Ha Jeevika, koi bhi ghar nhi ja rha hai... hm sbh yhi hain... tumhare sath, Maanvi k sath... They share a hug...

Viraat runs away from there and goes out of the hospital and runs in the open area... He leans to a pole and falls down crying his heart out while Viren searches for him...

Kyu, Kyu kiya mere sath aisa...?? Pehle usko meri zindagi se nikala aur ab ise zindagi mein aane se pehle hi nikaal rhe ho?? Itne khudgarz kaise ho sakte ho tum??? Kya chahte ho tum...?? aise hi zindagi bhar rota rahu...?? Kbhi khushi nhi aane doge mere parivaar mein??

Viraat, Khushiyan aayengi... mere bhai zarur aayengi... himmat mt haar...  abhi andar chal... doctor bula rha hai...

In the Hospital

The reports are out and the doctor prefers taking an expert advice, after which it is confirmed that Maanvi has Cancer in its 2nd stage.

Viraat enters the doctor's cabin and throws countless questions on him about Maanvi, that the doctor finds it difficult to disclose the news... In the mean time, Maanvi's condition deteriorates and nurse and Jeevika call out for the doctor. Viraat runs behind him and stands still on seeing Maanvi fight for air to breathe...

Nurse, take her to the operation theater... Fast... we have very less time... dont waste it... common move fast..

Doctor, before taking her, you have to tell us what us happened to her?? shouts Viraat

Patient has CANCER and needs an immediate operation... Please let us take her... or we wont be able to save her...

How dare you say that?? I will kill you to pieces if Maanvi gets a slightest scratch on her body... now go or get ready to be shot!

The Choudhary family reach Chandigarh and Swamini greets them... Beeji asks for Jeevika and Swamini hesitantly tells them that she is in the hospital but will come back soon... Beeji finds it odd as no one else comes out for their welcome and also Swamini's gloomy face makes the matters more complicated... Beeji decide to call Jeevika and ask her if everything is alright...

In the hospital, Maanvi is on the Operation table and Viraat is sitting on the floor next to the OT lot in his own world... Viren is consoling Jeevika...

After a few hours, the doctor comes out and from inside, the machine is making a lot of "Beep " sounds and Viraat runs towards him...

Doctor, kya hua?? Maanvi ab kaisi hai...?? Doctor ap bol kyu nhi rhe...?? DOCTOR!!! Maanvi kaisi hai...???

The doctor moves away without speaking a word...

Viraat rushes inside the OT and is shocked...  He finds it very difficult to walk up-to Maanvi... And then suddenly runs and hugs her...

Maanvi... Plz dont go... I need you Maanvi... Plz dont go... Maanvi dekh tera chep aj tere liye kya laya hai... Bandariya... ab uth ja na... Plzz...

In The Last Update we Read that Virika want Virman to spend some time together and also That Maanvi should not feel lonely or Depressed at any point of time so they Decide to have a Day out with her...

Viraat... Bhai, ap aur Bhabhi piche Baith Jao... Main drive Karta hun...

Viren:- Nahi mere Bhai.. tu piche baith... Main manage kar lunga...

Viraat:- Koi manage Vanage Nahi...  Chaliye... Piche Baithiye... Oye Bandariya... aise kya dekh Rahi ho... Aage aao...

Virika Are happy that there plan has started working but they stil They show Fake anger on Viraat so that There is no apprehensions in their Mind..

Viraat drags viren towards the car, opens the door and asks him to sit... Viren signals jeevika to sit and enjoy...

Viraat starts the car and switches the Music player with loud music and Maanvi gets irritated with it.. She Changes the song to a soft Music and Viraat once again changes it... They Keep on fighting and During this, Maanvi accidently gets too close with Viraats face and kisses him...

Virat:- Woah... What did i just feel right now... Am i in some dream  or is it true that she Kissed me... Does she know my feelings towards her... Oh God... What am i thinking... Virat... Concentrate Concentrate on driving...

Maanvi:- Chep... I am very Lucky to get a companion like you... I would love to spend Time with you... Thank you for being my support every time i was falling... Thank  you for Not letting me fall down and a big thanks for helping me forget my Disease...

While Maanvi and Viraat were into their own world of thinking... Viren typed a message about their plan to Viraat which made him come to the real world... He immediately took out his phone read the message... He Glanced over Virika, Maanvi and then again Virika...

He gave an assuring smile to Virika and felt Butterflies dancing in his stomach...  He was confused if he should be happy for being able to spend time with Maanvi or he should be worried as he might have to take Maanvi to the hospital any moment... Amidst these thoughts, they Reached the Temple and viraat asked Jeeman and Viren to go while he waits for them...

Jeevika:- Viraat, Mandir aakr aise acha nahi lagta ki tum bahar khade raho... Chalo hum sb sath mein andar jayenge warna koi nahi jayega...

Maanvi:- Arre, Tum Bade Chep ho yaar... Andar jaane mein kya problem hai tumhe...?? Chalo chup chap...

Viraat:- Acha chalo... Bhabhi ap bhai k sath Chaliye... Main is bandariya k sath aa raha hun...

Viren:- Hmmm... Thik hai... Sambhal k aana...

Viraat:- Chal Bandariya...

Both The couples climb the steps to go inside the Mandir... Upon reaching there, Jeevika prays for the well being of her sister and Husband... She wishes to have a happy and Blissful Married life... And also wishes that whatever Viren Prays for, should be fulfilled...
Viren Prayed for the well being of Maanvi and that Jeevika and Maanvi should not get Separated by any chance... They should get all the happiness of the world and lead a happy life...
Virman first went strolling around the shops looking around the Manuscripts and statues of Gods and Goddesses... Moving around freely, they did not realize when they entered the Temple...  Both Viraat and Maanvi prayed and Viraat Prayed for the well being of Maanvi... He also prayed that He can confess his feelings to Maanvi soon and that Maanvi also loves her...


Now after Visiting the Mandir... Maanvi asks Jeevika to return home as she has no mood of roaming around anywhere...

Viren:- Saali sahiba... thoda sa ghum lo... main tumhe aisi jagha pr lekr jaunga jha se tumhara wapis aane ka man nhi karega...

Maanvi:- Jiju... sach?? Kha leke jaoge aap...??

Viren:- aap baitho to sahi... Khud hi dekh lena...

Maanvi:- Chaloo... Chep... jaldi chalo... Mujhe to bohot excitement ho rahi hai...

Virat:- ha, Chalo... Araam se... Chaudhrain...

Maanvi:- Araam se kyu..? Mujhe kuch nhi hua hai jo m dhyan se jaungi... Mujhe to maze karne hain...

Virat:- arre Meri maa... Chal nhi to teri gadi kabhi band hi nahi hogi...

Jeevika:- ab agar tum dono ki nok jhonk khatam ho gyi ho... to chale...??

Viraat:- ji bhabhi...

Viraat takes every one to a nearby lake and they take out the things which they had brought for their outing...

While taking out the gifts, Jeevika sees a packet covered in a beautiful blue gift wrapping sheet and wonders for whom it may be... She turns to ask Viren about it and finds him just behind her signalling to open the gift...

She happily opens it and is enthralled on seeing a sari in the Box..

Viren ji.. Yeh... Mere liye...??

Hanji Mrs Viren Vadhera, Yeh aapke liye hai... Kaisa lga surprise...??

Bohot acha hai...

Viren Ji... Yeh aapke liye...

She gives him a bangle with her name inscribed om it...

Viraat... Idhar aa... Yeh le...

Bhai yeh kya hai...

Viren:- tu khud hi dekh le...
He opens the packet and is very excited on seeing his favorite Denim Jacket... But then he sees one more packet and opens it and his smile fades off on seeing a CD...

Viren:- Viraat mere bhai... tu tension na le... tere sath main hun na... humesha teri madad karunga... bs kbhi udasi ko mat chane dena apni is bholi si shakal pr...

Both viraat and Viren hug and then Viren turns to Maanvi and Gives her the photo album...
Maanvi:- Jiju, yeh kya hai..?
Viren:- Yeh aapke or apki pyari behna k liye hai...

Maanvi &jeevika:- Mere liye

Arre kholo to sahi...

They open the gift and a big smile spreads across there face... They flip over the pages of the album and have tears in their eyes as each photograph brings back memories attached to it...

Jeevika runs to Viren and hugs him...

Viren ji... Thank you...  You are the best Husband of this world... And the best jiju also...

Oye bandariya... Jeeju hone se pehle woh mere bhai hain... so he is the best bhai of the world...

Ok..ok  main tum dono k liye best hun... Maanvi k liye best jiju or Viraat k liye Best bhai.. Abhi chale... mujhe bohot bhuk lagi hai...

Ha bhai.. is Bandariya ko yahi chod do... Ped pr chadkr kuch na kuch to kha hi legi...
Viraat:- bas kar yar... abhi chal...

After Lunch the foursome moves on towards the boating area and Virman &virika take separate boats...

Virika spend time together and they completely get lost in each other so much that they had no clue about anything going around them...
Virman were having fun splashing water on each other making bubbles steering the boat to all directions screaming and pulling each other's legs...

Viraat is completely lost in the beautiful Maamvi.. her laughter... her every move made him drool over her... He wished that Maanvi should be happy and her disease should be cured so that he does not lose her lady love once again... He is lost in his thoughts and there Maanvi accidently puts water in her nose and finds it difficult to breathe...  She tries to inhale but the water trapped in her nose does not let her do that..

In the mean time viraat comes back to the normal world and panics on seeing Maanvi in an almost fainting condition.. He taps her on the forehead, neck and tries to keep her awake and looks here and there for some sign of Virika but he misses a heartbeat when Maanvi suddenly vomits out blood and lies back on his shoulder as if she had no life...

Viraat tries hard to wake up maanvi but when all his attepmts go waste he calls Viren

Viren:- ha viraat... kya ho gya??
Viraat:- bhai, maanvi...
Viren:- Viraat, kya hua... kya hua maanvi ko...?? bol na yar kya hua...??
Viraat:- bhai... Maaanvi... khoon... Vomit...
Viren:- Kya?? Tu kaise bhi karke gadi tak pohonch... hm aa rhe hain...
Viraat is not at all in the position to answer and he cries loud

Maanvi... tu mujhe chod k nahi jaa sakti... plzz Maanvi... utho... Dekho tumhara chep yha khada hai tumhare pas... utho... Maanvi UTHO...


What will Viraat do now...?? Will he be able to confess his feelings?? Will Maanvi be saved...?? Will Virika Reach on time... to know all this keep checking this place!!

jeevi were excited about their outing and at the same time very apprehensive about Maanvi as she was very weak and not stable... But the excitement of having a day out was not letting them bring any tension on their faces.. Jeevika went into the kitchen and asked the cook to prepare all favorite dishes of virat and manvi.. Viren in the mean time packed  a few dresses for virat and went out for shopping...
He wanted to give a surprise to the three adorable people of his life..  He decided to first shop for his wife and SIL... He bought a beautiful sari for jeevika and a cool photo album for maanvi with all photographs of the two inseparable sisters... For Virat, he bought a Denim shirt and a cassette of his all time favorite songs..


In the mean time, Jeevika had prepared everything and was waiting for viren to proceed with their plan.. An idea strucked her mind and she went away to meet her darling sister...

Mannu...  What are you doing?? My sister is getting bore sitting at one place... so get ready and we will go to the mandir...
Maanvi:- Di, i don't want to go anywhere... please leave me alone...
Jeevika:- You wont listen to your di...?... OK fine then... now don't talk to me...
Maanvi :- Di, how can i not obey you...? Acha first tell me where are we going...?
Jeevika :- that's like my sister... hmm... well my sweet lil sister, that's a surprise for you...  Get ready and come down... I am waiting for you...
Maanvi :- Ok di...
They hug and get busy getting ready...

Viren has come back from his shopping spree and is busy stuffing his car with all the camping things they have to carry along...

Viraat catches him and out of curiousness asks him
Bhai, where are you planning to go alone without any one of us knowing about your plans..?? Whats up dude??  

Viren:- arre nhi viraat, i am cleaning my car and i realised i have not taken out these sitcases since ages...
Viraat:- Give me bhai, i ll keep them in your room...
Viren:- no.. no.. Viraat, i ll manage it... :)

He gets an idea to lure Viraat into coming with them..

He tells him to help with some important work so that he can concentrate on some other work...
At the same time Jeeman come there and jeevika asks Viren if he is ready and can they go...

Viren:- ha, i am ready... Viraat.. lets go...

Viraat:- Bhabhi, where are you going??

Jeevika:- wo, i wanted to take Maanvi to a Mandir so Viren ji will leave us there (winks to viren)

Viraat:- Hmm... good idea Bhabhi... (looks longingly towards Maanvi..)

Viren:-  Acha abhi move... I am getting late for my work...

Virman are stuffed in the back seat of the car and virika are in the front seats...

jeevi were worried about the consequences of the surgery.. they had no idea if Maanvi will be able to survive or will she leave them with her fond memories... jeevika still could not believe the fact that Maanvi has to undergo a surgery... her world had shattered... she saw no meaning to her life after Maanvi.. She wanted to do something for her dear sister. But how would she take the permission of Swamini.. She decided to discuss it with Viren and then make further plans..

Jeevika :- viren ji, are you free in the coming week??
Viren :- yes, i am almost free.. why what happened...
Jeevika:- woh, I wanted to plan a outing with maanvi and...
Viren:- oh, ok.. you dont worry about anything else, i ll take permission from dadaji and buaji... you start preparing, i will just go and check what is dadaji doing...
Jeevika:-... thank you viren ji...

Viren comes out in the living room and gathers the courage to talk with the elders...

Badi maa... dadaji.. mujhe ap dono se kuch bat krni thi..

Swamini:- Bolo viren... kya hua??

Viren:- maa, wo.. maanvi...

Swamini:- arre ab kya kr diya is ladki ne?? har bar koi na koi galti karti rehti hai...

Viren:- nhi maa... wo jeevika chahti hai ki maanvi ko khi ghuma liya jaye uski surgery se pehle uske bad pta nhi kab...

Dadaji :- viren thik keh rha hai...  Jeevika aur maanvi ko khi ghum aana chahiye... Maanvi ka man behela rahega aur jeevika bhi thoda ghum legi...

Swamini:- pr bauji maanvi k sath viren kyu...??

Dadaji:- viren akela nhi jayega... virat bhi sath jayega... bacho ko ghumne do... yeh masti nhi karenge to kon karega...??

Swamini is all angry and is making all possible faces..

Viren thanks dadaji and takes blessings from both of them... Swamini is all angry and walks away from there..

Viren is happy and goes into his room...

Jeevika:- Viren ji kya hua?? apne dadaji se bat ki?? unhone kya kha?? arre kya hua?? hme permission nhi mili...??

Viren hugs her and says:- permission bhi mil gyi or maanvi ko company bhi mil gyi...

Jeevika :- company mil gyi matlab??

Viren:- Arre meri sweet si jeevika... mera matlab hai ki hmare sath hmara badmash bhai Viraat bhi aayega...

Jeevika?? Sach?? chlo acha hai... ham apni masti karenge or viraat manvi k sath khush rahega...

Viren:- tumne Maanvi ko sab bta diya??

jeevika:-  Nhi... hum viraat or maanvi ko surprise denge... vaise kb jane ka plan bnaya hai...??

Viren:- jb bhi aap kho madam ji...

Jeevika:- Parso sunday hai... tab chle??

Viren:- ha sure... hmmm... ab rat bohot ho gyi hai... chlo sote hain warna hme bhi kl path suna diya jayega...
they both laugh and go off to sleep...

There in his room Virat is in a deep thought.. 
Maanvi ki surgery se pehle mujhe use btana hoga ki main use bohot pyar krta hun... nhi reh skta main uske bina... pr kaise btaun... darr lagta hai mujhe... khi use bhi na kho dun...  nhi... aisa main kbi nhi hone dunga...

He slowly sneaks out of his room and enters Maanvi's room.. and is mesmerized with the cute sleepy face...
he caresses her face and talks to her in his mind..
Maanvi, you have to struggle this disease... You have to live for me... you cant leave me on a crossroad...   and he hugs her...

viren was taken aback with such a condition from jeevika.. he could not decide what to speak. he already knew, how dear maanvi was to jeevika, and he also knew how much he loved jeevika.. he could not afford to lose anyone! Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go.

he finally thought of letting jeevika be with her sister and postpone the marriage until manvi was perfectly fine.

viren:- hmari shadi manvi k thik hone pr hi hogi.. abhi sb uska dhyan rakho..
jeevika had tears in her eyes:- thankyou viren ji... she ran upto him and hugged him for the first time!! you are the best husband viren ji...
viren:- you are also the best sister and a best wife and hugged her tighter..
BG was happy to see the love in both of them and had tears in her eyes for the pain viren was undergoing.. he had to sacrifice his wedding for manvi..
beeji blessed them and went away from their.. jeevika could see her pain.. every one was in an emotional turmoil.. no one could resist to show their real feelings and burst out crying.. jeevika could not bear all this and ran up to viren but was shocked to see him cry too.. they wiped off each others tears and shared a hug.

virat was lost in the thoughts of manvi getting flashbacks of all happy moments spent with her,  every nok jhok and her bubbly face.. he still could not believe her being ill..
he decided that he would confess his feelings to her..

Manvi:- yeh chepu samajhta kya hai khud ko? m koi choti bachi hun jo khud ka dhyan nhi rakh sakti? m dr k pas khud bhi aa sakti thi. usko itni hamdardi dikhane ki kya zarurat?? she was about to speak more but again got a sudden severe headache.. she tried a lot to subdue it but could not and all she could do is hold her head tight until her mr right came and saved her from falling on the ground.. she collapsed in his arms and virat missed a heart beat. he felt needles pricking him hard on his heart.. he felt as if the whole world came to an end. he did not want his lady love to go away from his life... he carried her in his lap to her room and called the doctor home.. the news of manvi fainting spread like a fire and everyone was concerned about her specially jeevika. they tried waking manvi by sprinkling water n shaking her, but it was as if she refused to respond..
the doctor came.. he asked everyone to leave the room but virat and jeevika could not leave the most important person in such a critical condition. virat was all broken but showed a brave face in front of her dear bhabi..
the doctor examined manvi properly and prescribed her a few medicines..
jeevika:- dr, kya hua h maanvi ko? is something serious?
doctor:- oh ms jeevika, there is nothing to worry, she has a low blood pressure and is weak, so she fainted. i have given her a sleeping injection, please see to it that she is not disturbed. and take proper care of her diet and medicines..
jeevika:- sure doctor.
doctor:- mr viraat, please come out fr a moment, i want to have a word with you..
virat:- sure doctor..
virat leads the doctor out of the room and jeevika starts caressing her darling sister oblivious of the disease manvi was suffering from.
doctor:- mr viraat, its high time that manvi had an operation or her condition would worsen and she might die...
the last few words were more than enough to enrage virat and he held the dr from his collar and screamed.. what do you mean she ll die? you said that she has low bp, so how can she die?? speak up doctor speak up.. what is manvi suffering from?
doctor:- mr virat please calm down. i had to tell lie in front of her sister as i have no intentions to hurt her and make everything difficult to handle.. i suspect maanvi to have tumour in its second stage of growth, and if it is not removed now, manvi may die..
virat felt the earth slipping off his feet.. he still could not believe that a fun loving girl lyk maanvi could suffer from such a deadly disease.. he could not gather the courage to face her and his sweet bhabhi.. the doctor took leave from him and viraat banged his head on the wall as he had no excuse to cover up the truth that he could lose his lady love at any moment... he was drenched in the pool of thoughts to break the sad news to jeevika when he felt a soft hand on his shoulders.. he was shocked to see jeevika standing next to him all in tears... all he could do is hug her and cry his heart out...

 jeevika could not understand the reason for which virat was crying, so she broke the hug and asked him if everything was right!!.. bhabhi, the doctor has called us for a checkup in his clinic.. he did not tell me the exact disease manvi is suffering but he needs to do certain tests..
jeevika is tensed for maanvi and could not sleep that night as she wondered her future with manvi. there virat could not sleep as he could not let his lady love die. she had the right to get all the happiness and viraat could do ANYTHING for his lady love. Amidst all the confusion, tension, a new morning came up and virat and jeevika took permission from their family members to take manvi out for shopping(on pretext of a check up). virat had already informed his family about the condition of manvi, so no one objected. beeji was apprehensive to send manvi with virat so swamini asked viren to accompany them.
the couple first goes to a cinema n then shopping.here both of them do different shopping.. virman for virika n virika for virman.. they then roam around in the mall where once again manvi gets dizzy and faints.. virat informs viren to move to the doctors clinic and he would bring manvi too..
all four now meet at the doctors clinic and are worried about manvi... the doctor administers her an injection and asks virat if they are ready for the surgery.. jeevika gets a shock of her life and questions the dr.. dr please tell me what has happened to my mannu? what is the need of a surgery? viren tries to calm her down but all in vain... doctor:- ms jeevika, ur sister is suffering from brain tumour and it is in its second stage. if not operated she may die.. so please hurry up and decide what is to be done.. and inform me so that i can decide on a date to do the surgery..

viren asked jeevika to get back home but she refused and gave her consent for the surgery.. the doctor asked them to call him the next day for further details...as the night progressed, tension brewed up in the choudhary mansion.. every one was anxious to hear the doctor's verdict!! mannu was sleeping like a small baby in jeevika's lap and beeji was sitting besides them.. the vadhera brothers were walking to n fro like a zombie in the courtyard... time passed by and the phone rang- making everyone stop their breath...
beeji:- hello
dr:- hello, can i speak to mr virat?
beeji:- he is sleeping, please tell us and we ll convey the message..
